Alita: Battle Angel will be out soon actually not for a few more months as of this writing. The trailer looks very good, directed by James Cameron and seems to explore robots, AI, and other topics along the same lines while seeming to tell a great story. I think….and I must apologize for my lack of knowledge of Alita, but I believe it was based on a sort of anime character, but I may be wrong. Sometimes it is better not knowing, to be surprised at this new character which no doubt many people are already aware of, but consider me a “general audience”, clueless about this new character so once I saw the preview I was excited to see what James Cameron will come out with next.
James Cameron is one of the best directors having directed T2, I’m sure he did, if not comment below, but I don’t think they could have picked anyone better to direct this new AI movie.
His work at the time T2 came out was groundbreaking, I enjoyed it as a 12 year old watching for the first time, the new computer special effects were awesome….
