Scanning through the daily groups which I manage on Facebook, there is so much talent I just wanted to make an entry on some of the talent that has caught my eye. This is by no means meant to say that others are doing less or even less talented, but here are some of my picks currently.
This is just for today’s quick scan of relatively new posts. I have had some amazing authors do interviews for this blog, but some of the following are some interesting authors to watch.
So, one of the recent ones I noticed was a post by an author named Malcolm Archibald who is wrote “The Swordswoman”. The synopsis sounds intriguing to me, the author is from Scotland and does seem to have some very good credentials.
I copied the bio from Amazon: Born in Edinburgh, Scotland and educated at the University of Dundee, I write in a variety of genres, from academic history to folklore, historical fiction to fantasy. I won the Dundee International Book Prize with my novel ‘Whales for the Wizard’ in 2005 and was a winner in the People’s Book Prize with ‘The Darkest Walk’ in 2011.
Happily married for 35 years, I have three grown children and live in darkest Moray in northern Scotland, close by a 13th century abbey and with buzzards and deer more common than people.
This book looks interesting and I like the thought of a strong female lead character and from what I have seen the reviews are good. It has over 30 great reviews.

Next……I have already done an interview for this blog with J.R. Castle, but her book titled ” Blood and Water” from the Chronicles of Alburnium really has me thinking how creative this author is. I love the names she has and it really makes me think of the deep creativity this author must have. Very intriguing book series and title. As mentioned I did an interview with her here:
