I saw the movie “Rampage” last night and I was quite entertained by it. Sure, there was some unrealistic scenes, but I wanted something unrealistic to look at for two hours anyway. I don’t care that the large crocodile doesn’t look like a crocodile. Maybe its an alligator…I don’t know, don’t care maybe it morphed into an alligator before turning into a crocodile. In any case it can climb skyscrapers now, so what do I care.
I love the brilliance and entertainment that comes with a movie that is a bit unrealistic. I used to be a bit critical of it but lately I really enjoy escaping reality and watching an entire city get smashed by an angry ape.
Speaking of which, another aspect of this movie that was great was with how we get to see these animals fight that otherwise we would never get to see fight in the wild unless there was some sick zookeeper that sneaks in at night and opens the gate to the alligator/crocodile and lets them into the gorilla cage.
Its great for the kids as well.
Maybe…..yeah……just wait on that then…..maybe wait until they are 10.
Another nice aspect of the movie was seeing the “Rampage” video game in the background, was wondering if anyone noticed the Mortal Kombat next to it. Does this mean they are getting ready for a Mortal Kombat reboot as well? I hope so, I was/used to be a very big Mortal Kombat fan when I was a teenager. The original Mortal Kombat movies were not very well done although the first one was ok, at the time it was released it was actually good at least that’s what I thought when I was a 13 year old.
The white gorilla kinda reminds me of the cow they put on steroids, so maybe we will one day get to see this in real life.
(Please note: I love animals and I didn’t do this, some mad scientist undoubtably did)
